Leaving foot prints on your heart!

Rainbow Bridge

Rainbow Bridge is where all of our beloved animals head off to after their time on earth is through. We still love them dearly and hold a very special place in our hearts for them.

This page was made in dedicated to all of our loved pets that have been lost.

Fawna
(Aug. 31, 2005 - Date)
Fawna was a gorgeous little rat that outlived both her mother and sister. As a baby she looked a lot like a tiny little sheep, which was a huge part of why I kept her. She was a favorite of my mother's and a great rat. She was incredibly gentle and started no trouble with anyone in the cage.

Quinn
(Date - Date)
While it is hard to have favorites, some rats just happen to touch our hearts closer than others. Both Benjamin and Quinn were two of those rats to do that. I had Quinn since he was a very young rat, as well as his sister. He was always a long, thin rat, struggling to keep up his weight. Despite this, he was strong and loving (as well as very picky when it came to treats). He lived a full, long life and I miss him dearly.

Zoey
(Date - Date)
Zoey was "one of those rats". She was a trouble-maker, alpha, dominant, pushy female and yet I miss her bunches! She had a huge personality and hillarious appearance to match. Odd eyed, variegated and rex fur. She reminded me of a gremlin in both personality as well as appearance.

Holly
(Date - Date)
Holly was my first blue rat, though an agouti. She was playful and a great mother for her first litter. She produced both Fawna and Luna and while they grew up healthy, she lived a very short life. She died unexpectantly rather close to the death of her daughter, Luna. While they were alive, Holly, Luna and Fawna were inseperable, I can only imagine that they are happy finally together again.

Luna
(Date - Date)
While Luna was alive she was closest to her own family. She stuck tight with both Holly and Fawna. She was a very friendly rat, affectionate and not aggressive in the least. She lived a good, but short life. I was only sad that she could not have made it longer.

Benjamin
(Date - Date)
Benjamin was one of the largest males I have ever owned. He had a beautiful thick face and large eyes that could melt your heart. As big as he was, he was quite the baby. A gentle giant, I suppose. He wasn't from a breeder or pedigreed, but entirely amazing. Benjamin was my girly boy and my love.

Peper II
I have an awful habit of naming my animals after older animals, but it is so difficult to let go. Peper II looked remarkably similar to the first (she even had the same white spot on the end of her tail). It's hard to know which really sparked my love for rats as they both impacted me quite a bit. I lost Peper in 2005 and she lived nearly four years, a few months younger than the original Peper. She fought bravely for her life and I stayed beside her, hoping for the best. I hope she is happy in Rainbow Bridge.

Peper - The girlie who started it all. An agouti, standard eared female who won my heart and began my love for rats. She was owned by both my good friend Matt and me and recieved the best treatment I could give her. We played every day and often shared lunch. I remember I used to hold up rope with my friends and she's tight walk across it. She was my little circus clown and I miss her dearly. A great friend.

Pip - I wish I had photos of my boy. He was the most darling male rat I ever owned and I adored him. Housed with Mouse and after months and months had my first litter. An "accident" of sorts, but a wonderful one. They gave birth to my love of breeding and I kept every single one of the babies.

Mouse - My first siamese with an adorable personality! She was first given to my brother, but after he lost interest, I snagged her. I fell in love with her pink eyes and she became a favorite.
